In a significant step toward improving the quality of education, the Executive Chairman of Musibau Sanusi Adeshina, Hon. Musibau Sanusi Adeshina, has distributed desks and benches to over 50 selected schools across Ona Ara Local Government Area.
The initiative is aimed at addressing the shortage of classroom furniture in public schools and creating a more conducive learning environment for pupils. Many schools within the local government have faced challenges related to inadequate seating, which can negatively affect both learning and classroom management.
Speaking on the project, Hon. Adeshina reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening the education sector. He emphasized that providing comfortable and adequate classroom furniture is essential for effective teaching and learning.
“Our goal is to ensure that every child in Ona Ara has access to a proper learning environment. By supplying desks and benches, we are not just improving classrooms—we are investing in the future of our children,” he stated.
The distribution exercise covered over 50 schools, ensuring that a wide range of communities benefited from the intervention. School administrators and teachers expressed their gratitude, noting that the new desks and benches would significantly enhance the comfort and concentration of pupils during lessons.
