ADC: Newly Elected Executives to Assume Office Only After June 12 Inauguration
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) wishes to reaffirm that the tenure of all newly elected State Executives and other party officials will not commence until the tenure of the current executives expires. The new executives will be officially inaugurated by the Party on June 12, 2026, or on any other date subsequently announced through official channels.
For the avoidance of doubt, all current office holders remain recognized officials of the party until the transition process is completed in accordance with the party’s constitution.
Consequently, all newly elected executives, particularly at the state level, are advised to take note of this directive and refrain from any action or conduct that contravenes this official position or is likely to cause disruption within the party structure.
The ADC remains firmly committed to order, discipline, and strict adherence to the party constitution and democratic principles.
